To keep the collection meaningful. Random drops from every race would dilute the catalog. Requiring a chest open (AR auto-opens at 2 m from the 100 m target) ensures every card represents a real-world race completion.
Season 1 is strictly capped at 22. Future seasons may introduce new themed catalogs, but each set is sealed โ we never retroactively dilute a finalised season.
